Introducing: Julian

Julian Thomas read History at Cambridge University, graduating in 1981. He spent over seven years in marketing at
Procter and Gamble, working in all three European divisions - detergents, toiletries and paper. As a brand manager, he was responsible for a major relaunch of Daz and the introduction of Ultra Pampers. On Pampers he pioneered the use of direct marketing techniques on FMCG products.

He then became Marketing Manager for oral care products and OTC medicines, responsible for developing new European marketing and product development strategies.

Julian joined Oxford Strategic Marketing in 1989. He has most recently been working in the pharmaceuticals sector
on brand and NPD strategies and on development of marketing excellence programmes.

Introducing: Gina

Gina graduated from Bristol University with a BSc and MSc in Microbiology and Genetics. She began her career in Cadbury Schweppes, initially managing food and tea brands and then as regional marketing manager for Europe and North America. She moved to Beecham's International Division in 1978, as Market Development Manager for health drinks then toiletries in the Pacific Rim, African, Middle Eastern and Caribbean markets.

After a stint in Japan, she was appointed Strategic Development Manager for fragrances, skincare and personal care across the International region. Her final 2 years were spent in Uk toiletries working on new product launches across 3 key personal categories. GIna joined Oxford SM in 1987. She has most recently been working on both capability and strategy projects in sectors such as Financial Services, Food Retail, Leisure and Hospitality.

Introducing: David

David Thomas is a consultant and Coach with 15 years experience in international HR and business leadership. He has spent several years working for Unilever, helping to build marketing capability in the Home and Personal Care brand organisation.

Chris is Project Director with Oxford Strategic Marketing.

CP is a graduate of Durham University with 11 years in line management and 8 in consultancy. In line management he held various line manegement positions at Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson (J&J), including a marketing assignment with Wal-Mart USA and European responsibility. Joined OxfordSM in 1998.
At OxfordSM he has managed the US & global accounts for a major pharmaceutical client and led various strategy and capability assignments for finanical services, FMCG and retail clients.

Introducing: Robyn

Robyn is a consultant with Oxford Stategic Marketing.

Robyn graduated from Oxford University to pursue a career in marketing. She began at Unilever in the Foods and Ice Cream business before becoming Global Innovation Manager at Cadbury Schweppes. She joined Oxford Strategic Marketing in 2005 and where she has been working across Retail, Services and Pharmacy sectors.

Introducing: Jonathan

Jonathan studied Economics at Cambridge University, and subsequently gained an MBA at Manchester Business School. Most of Jonathan's early career in line management was spent with SmithKline Beecham, where he worked in the toiletries division. After experience in brand management on Macleans and Aquafresh toothpastes, he became Marketing Manager of the hair care division, responsible for a marketing team with a portfolio of hair care brands.

Jonathan joined OxfordSM in 1988, and became Managing Consultant in 2001.

Jonathan combines his leadership of the business with hands-on client work, most recently in the Leisure and Travel sectors.
